An Email that was sent to family & friends from Grandma Mona

Dear friends and Family,
This is just an update; some of you already know part of it.
We traveled to Utah after John's last (literally) chemo that we
may have a bit of time off as well as a visit with family and an
opportunity to do some business. We enjoyed one another and all of our
families.
Lorraine had us to her home for dinner which was lovely; Bob Welti was
also there. He is lonesome, but still his old self. Visited both Roll
and Tom, John's last two brothers; they are doing fail alone with their
wives.
I had a great time visiting with Aarden's daughter, Michelle who is
recovering from colon cancer; she is just as congenial as ever and it was
great hearing her last son, John's homecoming address. He has recently
returned from a mission in Korea. He is a humble beautiful young man.
That was in Brigham City which is also a beautiful city. I wouldn't mind
living there. We also had a root canal and crown done on my very back
tooth; so far it is great.
The lovely fall colors from Gunnison clear to Circleville and all
in between were amazing. I drove and didn't mind it a bit. We returned
after a week away; only saw two deer coming over Black Canyon & Blue
Mesa; one had been freshly killed and the other ambled across the highway
without incident.
We are so happy to be home. Our furnace had gone out while we
were away, but brother Distell, a plumber & heating man ordered aa new
ignighter (Lorin had told us he thought that was the problem) and now has
it installed after just two days. We were happy to have the wood burning
stove to keep us warm while we waited.
I now have to get back into the groove of being Relief Society
President. Camile halped me to get our 2008 theme, Purity in Womanhood,
program and scriptures ready to print up. She did a beautiful esthetic
re-do on the whole thing plus put a beautiful picture on the front cover.
Now, I'll have a month to get it in
print or copied ready for the sisters for January, or new year.
John will know by Nov. 12 how things are with the bladder cancer.
Its great to be alive! We are just loving one another, holding
to the faith, and enduring. All things will be good.
Love you all and hope for the very best for all of you in all
righteousness, Ramona and John
